To The Lighthouse socks are worked from the cuff down with a heel flap and gusset decreases at the bottom of the foot. They feature textured stitches and a simple lace panel which is repeated throughout the sock. The pattern was inspired by Virginia Woolf’s novel To The Lighthouse.
There are 3 sizes available: Small (64 stitches), Medium (72 stitches) and Large (80 stitches).
You’ll need approximately 70 to 100 grams of fingering weight sock yarn.
Other materials required are a set of knitting needles for working small circumferences in the round, at least 3 stitch markers, and tapestry needle for kitchener stitch.
The sample was knit up in Kettle Yarn Co Baskerville in colourway “Eventide”.
